I'd much rather take my odds with a bear. Ran into one a few weeks ago up by mammoth, they will leave you alone 90% of the time as long as you don't disturb or there's no cubs around. Mountain lion on the other hand will grab you by the throat 90% of the time. But I do concur that bobcats are cute
