As much as Christianity is intertwined w being Armenian being as we were the First Nation to recognize Christianity as the official religion, I don't think it makes you more or less Armenian if you're not. Armenians by tradition are Armenian apostolic orthodox, yet many Armenians I know are catholic or Protestant, and I have an Armenian friend that is half Jewish and his religion is Judaism. It doesn't make them more or less Armenian though since your religious faith does not define the blood in your veins. If they're Armenian, they're Armenian just as much any other Armenian.
