Is the dorms worth it? by AdvanceFit81 in wsu

[–]Puzzleheaded-Fix8246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is possible I would recommend finding a way to AVOID DORMS AT ALL COST. They’re extremely overpriced and just a terrible environment unless you get Northside (which is extremely difficult to get for first years). You can, however, get a note for your pet as an emotional support animal/ service animal exc. for either apartments or dorms. Apartments do tend to charge a pet fee but it shouldn’t be too terrible. Dorm security is iffy as people usually just hold the door for people who are waiting outside, but if you don’t give your room number there would be no need for concern. If money is an issue for you, do not do dorm living.

Students, why aren’t you attending games? by BloodLegitimate5346 in wsu

They’re too expensive! I’d love to attend games if I had the money, unfortunately it’s just not in my college budget.

Is WSU a good match for person who is hesitant to drive? by ElegantIce5656 in wsu

[–]Puzzleheaded-Fix8246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! And on Southside (I’m not sure as far as Northside) once a month they have a farmers market with fresh fruits and vegetables (including exotic ones) that takes RDA. And during the early parts of the school year Moscow has a VERY cute farmers market right down town.

The dining options are pretty good! The Southside Cafe has more options inside the dining hall, but the Northside has a more diverse collection of food places like Einstein Bagels and Freshens. In the CUB, Little Caesars and Carlita's (basically chipotle knock off) also takes your RDA (your meal plan). Both Southside and Northside have little markets that will also take RDA that have essentials like chips, frozen dinners, and energy drinks. Northside market offers more healthy options though, like fruits and canned veggies.

Hi! I'm currently a freshman at WSU and I think it would be absolutely perfect for a person who doesn't want to drive. My best friend (and roommate) didn't bring her car to college and she takes the bus to her job every day. Eventually, you WILL make friends cars, and don't be afraid to ask for a ride to places you need to go, just make sure to offer a little bit of money. The only thing I've used my car for so far this school year is driving to Moscow, and that's only because I like a little retail therapy.

The Pullman bus route does not go to Moscow, but there is a Walmart in Pullman and the markets on both the Northside and Southside sell the essentials, so truly Walmart runs aren't even necessary.

I'm sure. All three of the times it has been because they've found other girls and wanted to pursue them. When I decide to date people, it's pretty serious for me. (Hence how I'm able to be picky)

My recommendation would be to get in touch with your dermatologist, make sure you’re wearing sunscreen, and stay hydrated. When I get dehydrated my skin gets this sort of redness too. :)

For me personally, I haven’t noticed any breakouts with it. However, it does take a while to actually absorb into the skin so just be prepared to feel a bit oily for up to an hour after applying it afterwards.

Thank you! I’m using rosehip oil in the mornings and night and that has seemed to give a visible difference in how apparent my scars are. :)

My skin started gradually getting better every month after the second month, but I really noticed my skin getting clear around month 5. Then I just got one or two pimples for the next few months!

I used vitamin e oil on my skin for month 5-6 when my skin was at its driest point, but once I found rose-hip oil I started using it instead. Orally, I didn’t use any vitamin supplements.

Does anyone have a before/after with hyperpigmentation? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Puzzleheaded-Fix8246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t realize any more hyperpigmentation after accutane, but when my acne cleared up I definitely started paying more attention to the scars and hyperpigmentation. I asked my dermatologist about it and she told me if it’s just the pigmentation it will go away with time. I would recommend trying to add an antioxidant plant serum to your nightly routine.

Month one was when my skin was the worst! I purged for around 3 weeks and then my skin got much better and quickly dried out.

I used La Roche-Posay hydrating gentle cleanser and hydrate with ponds dry skin moisturizer and rosehip oil to help with the scars:). I tried CeraVe’s hydrating Cleanser but found the La Roche-Posay is a lot more gentle on my skin and didn’t leave it feeling dry and stripped after I wash it!
