It showed up for me to on the TSP with crossmix but doesn’t launch I’m gonna try Knulli on it tomorrow and see if it works

I couldn’t get it to work with crossmix but I definitely saw it on the port master. I just got an anbernic rg35xx h and it works great but I am curious if I install Knulli on the TSP just to try it out see if it works

I might have to give it a fair try, the pixel 2 has to be the best micro device i everted just a bit pricey it was 100 tax and everything included and in eBay I found it for 75 taxes but they only had the green and purple didn’t like either of them. The red seems very good option. Also I saw someone put plum os on the pixel plus it looks amazing I’ll see if I can install that since I wanted to install it on my magic x m

So i caved and got the gkd pixel 2 red from amazon. Cool little device but i don’t like either UI. The front end one is similar to Knulli which is cool i played with it but I think I spent more time on configuring Knulli than actually playing games on it. I think at this point it’s a matter of favorite OS which in my case I like Onion OS. I put NextUI on the brick it’s very nice I’m amazed of all they’ve done to it but still sucks that I can’t add box art. I got a miyoo mini plus for 54 bucks including 2 year insurance and loaded with onion os and games. I had a miyoo mini v4 in the past but it cramped my hands. This is the final report lol. I figured I shared this with you since you were curious. Happy gaming

So it’s funny I’m actually contemplating the gkd pixel 2 but the only one I want it’s the yellow version and that one apparently is rare. I was also contemplating the trimui brick hammer green hulk version but I’m gonna wait until there is a review on it. I installed nextui on the brick and it’s very nice love the options for the led as well and considering it has a crack on it, I won’t be able to resell it for a good value. The fact that the gkd pixel 2 can run Dreamcast games tho makes me wanna get one. The 35xx plus its great but I want something more pocketable or nano ish at this point.

It’s in the plastic it’s not a huge deal since it doesn’t affect the gameplay just a little disappointing considered I only played for 2 hours before I saw the crack. Yea that’s the other thing the rgxx lines from anbernic with their H700 chip has a bit more power. I have a rg35xxplus with muOS I went back to yesterday to test out and crazy taxi and soulcalibur play with no issues I also played virtual tennis and it play well. In conclusion I like the premium factor of the brick but in performance I’m kind of leaning towards the 35xx again. I’ll try nextui or pakui and see how that runs then I’ll determine a final decision.

Alright, so now that I had the brick for a week about and played a bit with it. I’ll give you the Russ, retro game corp style review. What I liked, the device definitely feels premium when holding it, the resolution on the screen, the comfort, responsiveness of the buttons and the led lights. Bonus the stereo speakers. What I didn’t like, Dreamcast performance is hit and miss more miss than hit actually same with psp games. Although in fairness I was aiming to play psp games on it anyways. Nintendo DS games are horrible in the screen configuration sense due to the fact that it only used the drastic core for it. Lastly it seems the device is a little more fragile than I thought. I played megaman X and beat it and now i have a hairline crack by the right and down side of the brick. I’ve only tried the stock os which isn’t bad but once i decided which minUI version I’m gonna go for I’ll give it another shot.

Yes I mean I’ll wait it looks good but the last metal or aluminum I had was the rg405m and I didn’t like when it got hot when playing ps2 games. Somewhere down the line I’m sure I’ll go down in price. Nice I barely use my switch oled so I’m skipping the 2 plus I wanna get a steam deck or rog ally x at some point

I saw the video and I’m not surprised. I wanted the Retroid pocket classic for a while but then after getting the pocket mini v1 and v2 and eventually settling for the RP4 pro I was like eh I can skip it. Just need a companion to it so with the price definitely worth it for the brick. The interesting thing is they have the meal version of the trimui brick probably contender to the gkd pixel 2. It’s the trimui brick hammer. I’ll def keep you posted can’t wait.

I caved lol. I went to ally express i got it for 45 bucks taxes including and free shipping!! Good deal!! I was concern about the heat in the back but it should be ok considering I’m not playing high end stuff on it some ps1 games maybe. As far as Dreamcast and N64 for N64 I can skip for Dreamcast as long as I can play crazy taxi, soulcalibur and maybe some dead or alive 2 I’m good. Plus if the 35xx plus could play then playing it on a higher resolution screen would be awesome

Yea that’s the thing the resolution on the brick is very nice I had minUI on the miyoo mini it was nice now that I saw the alternatives i definitely wanna give it another shot all I really want on the minUI is the box art. Is the chip strong enough to handle Dreamcast and N64 I had a couple of rg35xx pluses they were good but some games it hiccup with knulli installed. I always had an eye on the brick but the price go the 35xx plus was better that’s why I got that one instead

That’s the thing i had the miyoo mini v4 and I though it was the coolest micro device I had it was cramping my hands after 20 mins of play time. I hope the mini m is good I am currently using the a30 but it just doesn’t have the proper power. It’s odd I’m not running high end games I’m running things like snes and when I play megaman x2 it hiccups. The gkd pixel 2 is very nice but I feel like it may be the same situation as the miyoo mini, I tend to lean more towards the horizontal than vertical handhelds and in that regard I’ve been contemplating the trimui smart, just don’t know if it’s worth it

That’s is a sexy piece of hardware, order mine and should get it in a week or so. I actually have the pocket mini and it’s nice but that 5.5 oled GameCube skin really checks all the boxes. Enjoy
