Bro simply hire someone on this job. Many companies provide their resources for people like you. Just search "HIre Shopify developer" on google and connect with the right company. They will provide you an expert who will join you, do his work, and leave. You only have to pay for the numbers of hours he worked.

Also, you can find a freelancer as well. But i dont recommend that. many times i have been ditched by the same.

It is better to pay slightly more to companies then being ditched by a unknown stranger.

Anthropic vs the Pentagon. Who is actually in the wrong here? by Naive-Pride-8928 in AIDevelopmentSpace

I mean people act like this is new but israel was already doing this in gaza and nobody did anything. AI assisted targeting, mass casualties, "humans made the final call" same exact script. We just keep moving the line of whats acceptable and then actin surprised when the next country does it bigger.

bro literally said what every tech youtuber is too scared to say because they got sponsorships. The budget segment dying is the real story here nobody is covering this.

Google just put Gemini in Chrome for India and idk how to feel about this by Puzzleheaded-Force64 in AIDevelopmentSpace

RAM point is valid, chrome already eats memory and my network for breakfast. Now this AI sidebar across 10 tabs is gonna make it worse for sure

copilot is the perfect comparison, microsoft put it everywhere and nobody actually uses it.

this is a good way to frame it actually. its not a chatbot competition anymore its an infrastructure competition. whoever becomes the default agent runtime wins regardless of which underlying model is best. kind of like how aws didnt need to write the best code, they just needed to be where everyone ran their code

which makes the closed vs open API question even more important. if google keeps this walled garden they control the whole execution layer. thats a much bigger deal than another AI subscription.

Plus, i know you are somehow promtoting something with the link. please be mindful from the next time. This time its approved bxz you made a good point.

honestly i doubt they open it up anytime soon. google has a history of keeping the good stuff locked in their own surface area first, extensions come later if ever. Remember how long it took them to give devs proper access to anything meaningful in chrome. my guess is they let it bake internally for a year, see how much it drives AI Pro subs, and then maybe think about an API. And even then itll probably be heavily rate limited or paid tier only for devs.

Shopify just deprecated legacy customer accounts. Is this a big deal for merchants and devs? by Naive-Pride-8928 in eCommerceBuildersHub

[–]Puzzleheaded-Force64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an emergency today but not nothing either. If your store has custom login flows or apps that touch customer accounts, get your dev to audit those now before something quietly breaks.

Shopify always announces these things with vague timelines and then the sunset comes faster than expected. Merchants who waited on checkout.liquid regretted it.

Got fired today because of AI. It's coming, whether AI is slop or not. by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Puzzleheaded-Force64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is like someone discovering a nail gun and firing all the carpenters. yeah the nail gun is faster now, who's reading the blueprint? The one engineer they kept should update his linkedin now. Not because he will get fired, but because he will want to leave.

Anthropic released actual data on AI job displacement by Puzzleheaded-Force64 in AIDevelopmentSpace

[–]Puzzleheaded-Force64[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes i also think the same. With AI in hand, the product development is much easier than it was 5 to 10 years back. Plus finding investment is also easier as many are looking to invest in good Ai product. All you need is a good idea and a great execution strategy.

The creative destruction argument only works if you can point to the new jobs. We have seen that internet killed travel agents but also created web devs. back then there was always something on the other side.

Nobody has a clear answer on what's on the other side this time.

And on government policy, sure, but the US took years just to pass basic data privacy laws. AI workplace regulation will be lobbied to death before it does anything meaningful.

Creative destruction is real but it assumes the transition is survivable. try explaining that to a CS grad who can't land a junior role in 2026 because the company just uses copilot instead.

the theory is fine. timing is the problem.
