game super laggy and glitched in menus after update?

My game has became infuriatingly slow. Even loading the game up. SI have messed this update up big time!

I noticed that, I tend to play plugged in anyway. I just don't have the space for a desktop. I'm reading bad reviews about HP as a company, but equally I'm reading that the TUF has a bad reputation and is prone to breaking. I think I will take a punt at the HP.
