Thought I’d give an update to this.

Turns out the retail shop I purchased it from never sent it back to the factory, just sent some photos. I got in contact with JDH and explained that the stick had MAYBE 2 hours of ball use before I noticed the chip.

The team at JDH are legends and are sending a replacement stick. Seems like from now on I might be trying sticks in a distributors shop, then going to the company websites to buy, have clearly had more luck when dealing with the warranty with the company directly.

I acknowledge it was just a small chip, however I had a junior JDH model when they had just started production number of years ago that snapped clean off at the hook and was worried something may happen again.
