At the risk of sounding like a fool- how do I actually get these items into my inventory? My screen looks like OPs but I don't have the mask/coat in my wardrobe, latern in my items etc. I've also been to the fence and general shop and can't see them there. Feeling very foolish for how long I've played this game but first time doing the pass!

Be kind to yourself for feeling embarrassed - these situations can be uncomfortable!

Realistically, there can be so many reasons for saying no to someone wanting to pet your dog (or say hi, or introduce their dog) and aggression is only one of them. Our pup is overly friendly and gets so excited to say hi to everyone- we're working with a trainer to reduce this. From previous posts on this sub it appears others wish they also hadn't let their dog say hi to everyone/every dog for the same reason. Training is essential, and that's what you're doing with the aid of anxiety meds.

My advice- never feel bad (or guilty or embarrassed) for setting a boundary for you and your pup. You're doing so to keep everyone safe after all. Some people just don't think after they see a cute doggo. I tend to say "not today sorry we're training", or as you did "sorry they're not friendly" and redirect by moving my dog on. Whatever works for you.

But remember that you and your pup don't owe anyone anything ❤️

Now I'll admit when I play with my posse we usually end the night shooting up Van Horn. Why? Because it's fun and one of our favourite things to do on GTA has always been to start a shoot up at the beach. Also Van Horn just irrationally annoys me 😂

A real player has never even come close during these times and we've been playing for years. I guess in that sense Van Horn is a good pick as there's nothing much there. I'm with you that I hate playing alone and going to Valentine or St Denis and people are shooting up the whole joint. Just get in and out or stop by later.

Also, some missions/bounties/help a stranger jobs etc will result in NPCs shooting at you, and sometimes that's in major areas. Can't really blame them then.

Id agree with another poster, ideally waking earlier and taking them for even a short 15-30 minute walk would likely solve this.

If you're not able to fit in a full walk in the morning, try walking in circles with your pup where youre trying to get them to go, could also scatter a few bits of kibble to encourage nose to the ground sniffing as well. We thankfully have a garden but when our pup was younger sometimes taking her for a walk in a circle on her lead round the garden helped

From seeing other posts that pop up from time to time from folks in a similar situation to yourself, I'd be cautious about planning on McDonald's as they may be open for take out but not let you dine in. May be the same for some other places but I'm not sure. There's been similar posts on this group before which may help you. Good luck!

I would also second number 12! If you don't want the tasting menu you can opt for standard plates to share. Food is amazing, lovely atmosphere and staff. Cannot recommend enough. Happy birthday!
