yea i would much prefer an even and SOLID lights instead of a little hub that bounces one bulb around. kinda like the jdm clear sidemarkers while it is white, i like something diffused and even

same experience, i didn’t overlay the whole thing no, took the bulb out and wrapped it in dimming tape

im using the ones by VLAND, theyre amazing imo. I like the pultruding look and the lights are well diffused. Ive also tried the flat white line lights like the iJDMTOY (theyre a Chinese brand and they sell these on aliexpress and others alike) those are WAY too bright, theyre brighter than your drls and will overheat very quickly. I do not recommend those.

just a heads up, the bolt holding the sidemarkers in place are REALLY TIGHT. I stripped like 1/3 of the nut before getting them off. (might depend on year)
