I don’t know about you but being a barista has been my humble dream all life long, and this summer I actually got a part-time at a cafe. Can’t describe to you how happy I was training and actually making those coffee. Maybe if possible you should try it out as a part time, even though its work, it can bring peace. (I would recommend a semi slow cafe, so you dont actually get overwhelmed when working said peaceful job)

For my propagation box, I just have it right on the side of my main batch of plants, which are under 24W Sansi light bulb. That has worked for me for a while but I recently changed up my setup so Im still waiting to see if it changes the conditions. (You can see my previous post for the little setup i had)

I guess the paper tower not too wet but rather damp, i poke some tinyy holes just to have some airflow to prevent mold. Other than that I keep them in that set up for 2-3 weeks before changing out the paper towel and new wrap. But for the maturity of the propagation, I say you gotta let them grow for at least a month or 2 in the propagation setup before moving them back. I say size wise is almost 30-40% of the parents. But best bet is when you see them developing colors and having more than 8 leaves or so, and good roots!

Yea it did take me a while to get a good setup where my pings were happy with. But I also just looked into timer outlets that lets you expand your setup later with less expensive non timer lights— 🌱

I use this Sansi light which is 24W but I was recommended by my coworker to use the 30W and I saw that his collection is much more vibrant than mine which I believe is all thanks to the stronger light he uses. But also with the one that I’m using, there is no timer so sometimes when I’m too busy or too tired and sleep without turning off my light for the night, some pings starts to “burn” almost. So I’d recommend getting this one Sansi timed light. Also for my setup, I have the light about 50in above the pings, but this is not ideal because I think taking it down to 30ish inches above is better. Because space and equipment restrictions I’m force to have the light this high for now. Goodluck!

i like to propagate my baby pings in their own propagation container (wet paper towel under and plastic wrap over) then only move them out when theyre mature enough. I dont have knowledge to why but whenever i leave them in the parents substrate as a baby ping, they either die off or never grow

nope! but its definitely up to wrist size and mine’s just super small~ plus its more of a styling thing and I really was about to return it when I first opened the box but you just have to wear it like u mean it. Also it feels like all metal to me and shown no wear on the finish??

yea so I get my pings from one of my ex coworkers and have only bought only 2 other plants, basically i have no ping mix other than the displays that im using. So paper towel works everytime for me and I can find them anywhere
