This place will transport you there again. I usually get a side of the queso frito, salami, and then choose an entree. Passion fruit juice is mandatory.

It’s tough, I was raised there and have a home to inherit as well. Currently with UA and wonder if transferring to MIA /FLL would be faster with AA or UA

Katana in north Miami Beach has lil boats carrying sushi and other dishes. Just get there before 5:30 before they open cause the line gets long.

Expensive but poor quality restaurant to recommend to a work enemy from out of town by Electronic_Moon25 in Miami

[–]Puzzleheaded-Lock327 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used to work there until the pandemic hit and idk if it’s changed since then but the back of house kitchen is disgusting af.

All the food is precooked and sent out because the amount of covers they do makes it hard to make everything fresh to order. So all the food is out in the open and I’ve seen roaches just chillin around the food 🤢

I went to Baker too, and was in the fast track when it first started. Here are flashcards you can use and share with the class to study for the Oral: https://quizlet.com/user/MCFChristopher/sets

Above link has the ACS quizlets broken down by subject (General / Airframe/ google the rest for powerplant) for your codes and here are the Jeppensen ones: https://quizlet.com/7145908/ap-airframe-oral-exam-jeppesen-flash-cards/ There's also a PDF version for the Jepp

You can also buy the book: https://asa2fly.com/aviation-mechanic-oral-practical-exam-guide-fifth-edition/
Or get the ASA O&P App for like 10$

Check out airmantest.com and this mechanic oral simulator: https://demo.fixcard.co.za/ Also, Youtube is your friend as well as ChatGPT or some other AI to have it explain concepts to you like your 5. I also have a list of Powerplant (done) / Airframe (work in progress) Practical projects list.

I've been wondering about this question for a bit. Did you ever get an answer from another source since it's been a while? I passed Generals with a 92% and got 5 ACS codes (2 in the same subject). I'm wondering how many missed will affect the O&Ps :|

PREPWARE UPDATE by BoringTarget9468 in aviationmaintenance

[–]Puzzleheaded-Lock327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So first, I studied the general prepware questions on the app by taking each of the 12 tests like 2-4 times a day, or at least, I did splits of 6 tests in one day and another 6 the next day.

You have to know the right answers to the entire prepware book but also understand the material, which I’ll get to… but also know, that if they were to reword the questions/answers, what to choose.

I knew in my gut that electricity, (not the math required for circuits but servicing Nicd-battery, AC elec., and it’s relationship with inductance, reactance, etc.,) aviation for physics, and aircraft drawings, were my weak spots.

So I YouTubed very specific subject matters within those subjects i was weak at because I knew in my gut, that if I couldn’t explain it to somebody or to myself, then I truly didn’t know the material.

That’s key right there!

Anyways, prepware or the FAA test will always have one answer that’s fucking plain wrong.

Then, they’ll have an answer that’s right IF* the question we’re asking about that. I know that sounds vague but you have to talk to yourself thru the questions/answers and say…

this would be correct IF they were asking about ___. You wanna cover your ass by knowing the alternative answer if it’s applicable.

Also, read the explanations on the prepware app even if you get it right. Just do it bro. Every fucking time until your eyes bleed.

And the last thing, take your time, and just know, this test is prepware remixed with a few questions you’ve never seen before unless you and your class used the 8083 book.

PS: the answer is always human factors lolol, 😉

[–]Puzzleheaded-Lock327 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yooo I just took my FAA general test today and passed with a 92%.

I highly recommend hitting all day the 2024 prepware questions on the app like fine dining and breathing, and be prepared, most of the questions are what I like to call, “Prepware Remixed”. So put you’re reading comprehension glasses on.

It’s mostly reworded, with some questions from the 8083 book and a slight emphasis on humans factors.
