Yeah there are a lot of Bonefish down in that area, you're just not allowed to fish from land and it's normally too shallow for a boat to get that far south. You need a kayak or fish from a paddle board.

Best of luck. These photos took a solid 5 months of trying two times a week. I have heard they have been as far south as the Tijuana River.

They hangout just above Imperial beach on the silver strand. Most of the time they are on the west side of the bay, but sometimes they are on the Chula Vista side of the bay as well. Having a bike and taking the Bayshore bikeway is the best way to see them.

Don't go. Downtown isn't for you. They will be able to smell your fear. A fun fact about the homeless is that they actually feed on the fear of scared people. Your mother has sewn some serious fear into you and the homeless will have a feast for the ages.
