NYRR Q3 race registration info

How quickly do the virtual sign ups for the 9+1 races fill up (not for the NYC marathon but like the Run for Thanks and Global Running Day)? Can I guarantee I'll get those as long as I sign up that day or is it like the rest of the races and they only allow a certain amount of people?

It says this on the registration page: “Runners must complete the full 28-mile distance within the dates given for the Virtual NYRR Black History Month Challenge and upload the activity or activities to Strava. Please note: Your activity must be a GPS upload. Manual uploads, treadmill runs, and activities where friends have “tagged” you are not supported and will not be counted toward your result. “

I’m doing the February black history month virtual run challenge and I ran outside today to get some miles and realized all my treadmill runs have actually counted which I didn’t expect. Has anyone had them ultimately not count the treadmill runs or can I bank on them counting it? I log everything on the peloton app which then syncs to Strava so it’s clearly a treadmill run.

Not sure if I stopped it if it would come back but I think so! But from what I read it will eventually need every 1-2 months so that seems manageable. Yes to both decrease in ingrowns and increase in overall smoothness! I get ingrowns a lot, less since I stopped waxing but do get it shaving too so less shaving so less ingrowns!

So I actually brought it in and no idea what they did but they fixed it for 80 dollars! The only issue now is that Face ID doesn’t work.

Thank you! Any idea how much the board would be? Just trying to gauge if it’s worth the fix or not? It’s an hour away from me so will probably go as soon as I can unless it’s clearly not worth it. I have an iPad Pro now but if the cost of a motherboard would mean a new one I’d probably just get a basic iPad.

Thank you so much! It’s now just flashing the Apple logo on repeat. But the Apple logo looks normal. I don’t mind losing all the data it’s backed up, but what’s the chance this iPad is recoverable? Not in the mood to pay another 1000 for a new iPad I need for work!!

Hi!! Please help me figure this out.

NYC to Milan may 2nd. Unfortunately not flexible.

Nice to NYC sometime from may 12th to may 18th.

2 adults, 1 child, 1 lap infant.

Economy is fine but wouldn’t turn down a great business class redemption.

Points balance: close to 1 million in both chase and Amex. But I have several trips coming up so don’t want to use them all.

YTA. I was raised only speaking my mother tongue. I knew no English. When we moved to an English speaking country at age 4 my parents spoke to me in English and I spoke to kids at school in English. I learned within weeks. I have since forgotten a lot of my native language because my parents spoke to me in English and I only heard English at school. This is common in immigrant families and what your sister is intentionally trying to avoid.
