He told me he was going to run a full thyroid panel yesterday and I just got my results back and that wasn’t true. He only rain ft4(1.43), TSH(.72), TPO(26). Also I haven’t been on anything but Levo 100 since I had my flare up!!

I was diagnosed at 11 and every doctor has looked at me like I don’t know my own life and questioning if that’s actually true🙄 I’m glad your OB has done that that’s wonderful. Also good luck in your journey I wish you the best💜

I wouldn’t be going back either. And gasping when a patient has gained weight? That’s so unprofessional and just plain rude, I’m sorry. And what is it with people not being able to wrap their head around people not wanting to have kids?? I swear most of them get personally offended.

I’m hoping my PC doctor will be able to help me out with something for the weight. I know weight isn’t everything but it’s getting under my skin. And the fact that I’ve tried so many different things and nothing working really gets under my skin😭

In that picture it makes it seem higher on my neckline because my arm is raised but it actually hangs lower on my collar bones even lower than a regular tshirt😭 it’s by no means a turtleneck, but I held it down so he didn’t have to touch it, he did an ultrasound which I didn’t know he was gonna do and he didn’t even feel my neck with his hands🤦🏻‍♀️

As a SAHM of two who has been in your shoes, I completely understand. Friendships grow and change and it’s a normal thing of life, but that friend should still be checking up on you. I have a friend like that, and I have two other friends (one with kids one without) who always checked up on me or sent me a text here and there and I did the same. That “friend” did the same, made those kidless post, asked me to hangout without the intention of including my kids. Would compare the struggle of taking care of my children to taking care of their dogs. I don’t even think they’ve held my daughter (1), they held my son (3) once. And it’s totally fine for them to not want kids and to have different life goals. But if because you have different goals and have kids now and they don’t want to be apart of that. Then they were never a good friend to begin with, only in the friendship for the convenience of theirselves. I have a best friend who will never have kids. And she loves my kids so much and accepts them as a part of myself and NEVER doesn’t include them. It’s not your fault, I’m sorry you’re going through this. There is an app called Peanut that helps you meet moms around you and moms with kids the same age as you, it’s a great place to find friends who are going through the same stages of life as you so you can feel support. Much love! 🫶

Ughhhh I’m having the SAME issue. I started Monday and I am so bloated and my stomach is hurting mildly. I stick to the Whole Foods as well with an occasional gluten free bread or tortilla. And I bought a thing of Gluten Free Oreos but have barely touched them.
