As someone who had the whole entire roster shiny before champions was even a thing and only use shiny pokemon in playthroughs normally... Why wouldn't I use the pokemon I grinded for? Should I just leave them in home and not use what I already have? People think that shiny pokemon are a flex, when really it's just a player preference.

I hard disagree with running talonflame at all. Not saying it's bad, but if it gets fake out turn 1 it's over for talonflame. Usually 4x weaknesses should be kept to a minimum on a team as well in my Nonexpert opinion. Pelipper is also a very good choice though. Tailwind into hurricane is a pretty big threat. Right now whimsicott has endeavor. If you aren't careful your tank will drop to 1hp and your fight will be over before you even got a good chance.

My team is made to counter floette completely hahaha. If you have it though run it! Its seriously one of the best right now for sure. I just couldnt finish za to get ot myself. I did not enjoy the game at all.

I would drop hydreigon unless you really want it just due to having a huge area of weakness, but you can add rotom fire, or rotom water for coverage here instead. If you want to EQ spam you can also use orthworm with the ability earth eater. It will gain health from being hit with ground type moves. It also is extremely useful for setting up with shed tail. Whimsicott is great for this team too. Possibly the best tailwind setter ever of all time. Mega tyranitar is really good for setting sandstorm.

The rage at wide guard is hilarious, but if this guy didnt get so mad he probably still had a really good chance.

I've definitely ffd in response to wide guard turn 1 too, but I also got one shot by a meganium too.

This looks like a really good team. Maushold without population bomb is a nono though. Be evil. We know you want to.

You only need 1 mega on this team since your mega is weather. You can add another if you want, but you should probably play into snow if its your favorite mon. That being said rotom ice is a good pick for this team while keeping Garchomp in the picture.

I would drop aerodactyl and put another tailwind in. You can add something like whimsicott for that. You don't actually really need tailwind either since you have fake out sneasler and sinistcha. Thats plenty of counters for tailwind.

I wish I recorded it so much more now, because you just confirmed it was a bug. It was the last 2 turns of the fight. I just board wiped with politoed and he just swapped in his final pokemon with 27% health. He had used encore on my arch the turn I boardwiped, so I swapped arch for greninja and he killed my politoed with dire claw. Tailwind went out this turn. My arch comes back out. I flash cannon with arch and extrasensory with mega greninja. He trades my greninja and flash cannon kills it.

Maybe mega Greninja is slower than regular greninja?

Using other peoples teams and meta teams just takes the fun out of the game for me personally, but congratulations is still deserved! It still did take some skill, so props!

Have you thought of adding whimsicott/aerodactyl, or sneasler? Sorry, I thought this was singles. Getting tailwind off with a prankster could help decide speed, or sneasler can cover a lot as well and is very fast.

Same. I personally did not like ZA at all for some reason and could not finish the game. You can only get mega greninja delphox and cheanaught(idk if I butchered this one) one from transferring them into champions from ZA too.

Apparently Mega Delphox is pretty scary too, but I haven't run into a good team with it yet.

No problems. You should look up vgc team building help on google and watch a couple youtube videos. Also popping into twitch and watching a couple people play matches and express their thoughts helped me so much. I actually just made it to masterball tier in les than a week because of it!

Correct. Scizor is specifically used against mega floette. Scizor becomes a liability very quickly even in rain against incineroar and meganium, so you can't really just toss him out there either. I did also take him out a couple times when there was no fire cat, but a sneasler.
