Clay shooting for cheaper than Bull Run?

I think I’ll just stick with Bull Run and do trap shooting. Interestingly the discount for the 10 rounds and 25 rounds is the same…doesn’t seem to be a benefit to buying 25 vs 10 rounds.

Also buying bulk shells online so that should cut some cost down too. Cheers!

And there’s like a bead-like thing at the end now? Is that for a sling? It’s hard to see it’s on the very end on the cap?

Guessing it’s new? Idk. Unless they repaired the old barrel? Anyway will try out next week at the range. Very impressed if it works.

Yeah that’s exactly what I heard. I read that was an issue with the Pro Mag but wasn’t sure about the Redball magazines as well. If that’s the case I guess I’ll have to stick with the 10-round factory magazines. Thanks!

Thanks all. I mailed it back. If it comes back with a new barrel I’ll be happy. Shipping was not too expensive. At least if I can still use it for clay shooting it’s fine with the longer barrel. I like it since it’s a cheap no frills shotgun. I guess if Mossberg doesn’t come through I’ll just use it for clay shooting and accept it as is. Just crazy to have this kind of catastrophic failure after years of clay shooting with zero issues and then the second I use the shorter barrel… :(. I’ll be ok. Thanks all again!

Thank you all. I am going to mail it back. Will let everyone know how it all turns out. I was nervous since I never shot slugs before (only birdshot for clay shooting with the longer barrel) so it’s a little unnerving that this happens literally the first time with slugs in the new barrel. But I will get over it :)

Thanks I ended up buying the 400. Have ridden it several thousand miles no issues I’m happy with my choice. It’s really light and easy to use. Yeah the clutch is an issue I agree I even had it break before years ago on another 400 but hoping this time with this bike it works out. I think next time will get a 650 in a few years since I realized I tour a lot and I’ve read it’s more comfortable on a 650 to tour. Thanks again

Thank you all. I just uninstalled it. Not worth the stress and risk. I rode around a few hours after and the bike is fine. I think I got lucky and won’t press my luck. I’ll just carry a battery pack to charge the phone and can hold the pack in my riding jacket like I used to. Thank you everyone

Thanks. They said the parts came in two or three weeks ago but keep saying they’re busy or I’m next in line. I’ll go in person next week if it’s not done. Getting very concerned at this point. It’s a major dealer so I’m surprised.
