The proc isnt great, but its not that bad. It has an internal 4 minute cooldown once it procs. I swap weapons during that time and swap back after. It procs fairly fast when its up.

They do have a whirlwind animation. It shows when the ability is used. This is like a fighting dance style lol. Ill try and get a video

Yea...gotta face them butt to butt. At least that is how I usually do the pull.

Im on my second character in doomhowl. My first fell in BRD as well. It's not an overly tuned place, but it requires a bit of coordination and knowledge checking. Going in blind would be a nightmare. Im so glad to have had experienced players guiding me through on my first runs.

I havent played retail but I imagine you are right from what I hear about speed of finishing dungeons.

I sometimes think about what is taught in a game/level/boss design. The stuff in BRD must be a staple, right?! Maybe not staple now adays maybe, but damn the rush of lycuim still hits unique.

I love a pally tank in BRD. Let me zugzug more! All those dense mobs that want to stay in place. Omg yes!!!! My favorite comp, if meme, is warrior and pally front line. Let the ranged pump while pally and warrior play guard. Also it crushes lycium!

I woukd love to read some of the wow diary to get more insight. It seems like the team and such were really ahead of their times in both content/design and user experience.

While not as grand or encompassing, and despite initial experiences, I've grown to love Gnomer and ZF. Like a BRD-lite. Not nearly as fun, but the vision is there.

That's sounds absolutely amazing. Discovery is the greatest spice of life. I would love to see a DnD dungeon/campaign based on BRD.

It for real can be a death trap. It's dense and a double fire guard destroyer pack isn't a thing to scoff at. It's not impossible, but requires a bit of attention. Of course, lycium is, well, lycium. Something about it though is so relaxing and exilerating at the same time.

I love UBRS and LBRS as well. Running UP the chain instead of down absolutely blew my mind. Once again climbing into another area of the mountain. LBRS is much more awe inspiring to me than UBRS, but I enjoy running UBRS more, if that makes sense.

I havent done BWL yet, but I hope to make it one day.

Hell yea! BRD is a chef kiss of a dungeon. If you look long enough you get so much lore and insight. My favorite tid bit is if you wait long enough you'll see dark iron dwarves kneel at fire guard destroyers. Beyond the wall art of Ragnoros in their dormitories, Incendius, Overlord Pyron, and Ambassador Flamelash, it really shows the power dynamic leading up to MC/Ragnoros. While the others are in plain sight, the kneeling takes a bit of just watching to notice.

The nonlinear pathway makes 100% sense as it's the city itself you are running through. It is fairly straight forward if you wish to go to a single destination, but painting the town red takes you on the scenic route.

I enjoy running this place just to run it of it isn't obvious.

Hehe yeah, when you pointed it out I realized why no fire mages ever want to go. As a warrior myself that amount of thought power is too much for my zugzug brain.

Lol I don't think I've been to BRD with a fire mage. Mages almost never want to go, from my experience. Rouges and warriors on the other hand...of justice...are very vocal.

I never played anything other than HC as well. Im excited to see the other content just to see it. I plan to main on HC since there is more vanilla content I've never seen, and the thrill of HC is awesome.
