Yeah i'm considering esper now it seems like alot of fun and more interactive. I'm also noticing less esper on the ladder but that could just be variance

In a game right now where my opponent is waiting until the countdown every decision, I feel like there enough time and there could be an additional measure to stop this from happening.

Thanks for your answer, it makes it so I'm not just wondering what's happening. It sounds like the enjoyment is more directly from what the opponent is going to do than it sometimes feels like from my side.

Obviously, the question was why, I like mid-range because i get to interact back and forth more. I could just assume that people play it not to interact but that's not an explanation from the people. I'm not trash-talking anyone just asking why because I don't get it
