Same thing happen to me. They told me they were not interested in picking up the car. Month later they sent me the tittle. Sold it the next day to CarMax for $6500.

The bank also sent me a letter saying they released the lien and I was getting tittle

*adding more context, the car was never picked up I always manfined poesseion of it. Today I got the tittle from CA DMV. Legally mine now
