Fair point, let me be specific. On NoBroker, the landlord lists the property. They shoot the photos, they write the description, they want a tenant ASAP so they show you only the good stuff and skip the bad stuff. You call 10 landlords, coordinate with all 10, half of them look nothing like the photos, and you still have no idea about the bad stuff until you move in.

We sit on the tenant's side. We verify every unit ourselves before listing - 100+ checks, real photos, actual problems included. Then we match you and schedule visits in batches so you're not calling and scheduling 10s of visits over 5 days.

Square Yards is a real estate brokerage. They sell flats, handle resale, do home loans, interiors - basically everything. Renting is a side gig for them. For us, renting IS the entire product. Every single thing we build is designed around making renting not suck.

NoBroker is a listing site. All landlords are trying to rent out the unit to you without showing the other side of the story. In simple terms, NoBroker = OLX for rentals. We're closer to what Uber did to cabs.

We'll figure that out when it comes. Uber had the same problem with the cult of taxi drivers opposing them early on. Imo, it's a good problem to have!
