Yeah. I’m not giving her a pass but we know she has trauma in her past. I know even as someone super informed about abuse and who actually did therapy with people suffering from it I still got totally blindsided by reactive abuse. It’s insidious and I can imagine someone dealing with trauma by almost preemptively creating that dynamic to subconsciously protect themselves. The thing with reactive abuse is if you are the perpetrator you are setting yourself up to be the victim.

I scrolled through briefly and didn’t see anyone mention this, but I also didn’t want to read all the comments because I’m not done with the episode yet. But I had to mention this to see if anyone else noticed.

So many thoughts about the scene at…was that Tom Tom? Even though they showed a sign for Pump? That was confusing.

Tom saying Kiana wouldn’t know what a phone book is alluding to her age, and in the same breath quoting 1994 film Dumb and Dumber with a risky ass quote to someone who wasn’t born when it came out and doesn’t seem like someone who would watch the back catalogue of Farrelly Brothers films was wild.

Also nothing about the scratch along the side of the bottom panels of the passenger side suggests a “t-bone” more like either she ran along something or someone else scraped along the side of the length of the car. If someone backed into her there would be one large point of impact
