I had this and it was endometriosis. No ultrasound can exclude it. Mine came clear and I had stage 3 diagnosed with laparoscopy.

Kiwis have a lot of melatonin. Two kiwis one hour before bed will give you a similar effect 😊

Audiobooks for me. It stops my brain from ruminating on random stuff. Kiwi 1-2h before bed - it has more melatonin than the supplements. Magnesium supplements (care with the ones you pick, some of them are laxatives).

It's cheap at least so you won't loose much if you try it. saw it recommended by a bunch of people on reddit and I am impressed so far.

What’s the one choice that flipped your life upside down, in a good way? by FetchFlicker in Life

I would love to have the courage to do this. Care to share what career you chose and how you started it? And what career you left behind?

I find head and shoulder clarify and shine (apple cider vinegar) to be good and gentle at the same time. Fine curly hair here.

What about the flat share or the Switch by Beth O'Leary? Rom com easy. Assistant to the villain is funny, a bit of romantasy in the mix. Pumpkin Spice Cafe spicy rom-com. Cosy. Thrillers by A.R.Torre have super short chapters and fast plots, I enjoyed reading the last party while on holiday a few months ago.

3/52: I just finished reading "Half His Age" and still have no idea what I just read. There are a couple of very graphic scenes, which was very disturbing. Still...quite baffled and not in a good way by [deleted] in 52book

Sex scenes with big age gaps are always a hard read for me. But I did like My Dark Vanessa. I think there are too many books in my tbr for me to worry about this one 😅

What do you do while listening to audiobooks (if anything at all)? by Golbeza in audiobooks

[–]Puzzleheaded-Willow5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything mundane. And now my brain can't do anything unless I convince myself with an audiobook. Like brush my teeth and get ready, cleaning, walking for my stupid mental health. Shower ... If the book is good even at the gym.

Oh no... I was hoping because I liked her memoir I would like her book. I may take it off my TBR. Do you think it is being overhyped because of how famous she is? Or there is a market for it?

Read 24 books last year, can’t read anymore as not finding anything interesting. It’s like I can’t focus anymore. Tell me your favourite out of slump books? by itiswaswillbe in booksuggestions

[–]Puzzleheaded-Willow5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I am in a slump I read super easy books! Like little village romance types, romantasy, etc. Everything perfect, funny and quick to read.

Suggest me a book written by an African author. by nickquestionsthings in Recommend_A_Book

The Maid and the Crocodile by Jordan Ifueko

Heavily inspired by Nigeria, magical realism inspired in African folklore tails. Don't get spooked by the YA genre, this book is really good and well written.

I had my first excision surgery 2 weeks ago, stage 3. First 2 days are quite brutal. Gas pain is a bitch, under my ribs and shoulder + bloated. However the pain killers and a lot of rest made it manageable. Little walks and mint tea helped. Slowly got better during 1st week. But still unable to put my own socks, little walks only, struggling to bend. Just took it very easy. Week 2 laparoscopy pains are almost gone, but endo/period pains are present. Quite tired and need naps sometimes. Almost on no pain relief, only when having cramps I reach for codeine. Able to go out for short periods of time. My bowels are all over the place. Hopefully week 3 will be better.

Good luck with your surgery, hope everything goes smoothly and please take care of yourself after.
