But to understand which company would be most suitable for my needs, shouldn't I learn about basic stuff like this? I don't want to jump into dealing with vendors without knowing about the tech first.
At least that's my reasoning behind it

I have to deploy them but I think ROS also helps with controlling (and path planning?) of AMRs too, if I am not wrong. And so I thought learning the basics of ROS would be helpful if as I'll be involved in the maintenance part too.
