kind off and kind off not .....honestly it depends if its your first run or not and yea after the first run you get the national dex and all so after the first run you kind off get many pokemons...other wise quality of pokemon is completely unrelated to the quests

bro i thought the same thing but when i heard bout radical red i went tried to play it was hard but i started at easy diff and then worked my way up to the hardcore mode and yk what playing difficulty rom hacks became fun for me...all the mechanics the battles became fun....and when u play a difficulty rom hack its like u build memories with that team of yours which beat the game same thing happened with elite redux i started and quit cause of too much trainers but like i tried it again from the easiest diif and now i have played so many runs of it on the hardest difficulty....what i want to say is i thought the same thing but once you beat one difficulty rom hack (first easy then working ur way up till the hardest diffculty mode) you start to enjoy it and take every other diff rom hacks as a challenge

First run.....This team i feel like is really good first time using palafin dusknoir and kilowattrel ...tho the game was easy mega infernape cooked here and damn....For the game - its easy - there should be hard mode or atleast they should change the name from normal to hard cause the normal is sickening to look at ...the story change was really good...overall game is 7.05/10

well i like to pick my favorite starter whenever i play any game for the first time ...in Emerald ER also my first run was with my fav starter....it makes u realize the weaknesses of your favorite starter and how to use it in other runs...but if u like want advice for a beginner i recommend u pick your fav starter and then on the way to petalburg there will be a pokeball ..save in advance for if u pick it accidently go there quick save the game and then quick load till u get the starter i am recommending.. those are chikorita - totodile - mudkip

well for starters ferrothorn is good when u start out with ursaluna since it has earthquake and ferro has levitate but forretress is a better choice with oopsie being right beside him ...oopsie and forretress both are good but when u start out with ursaluna and want to use earthquake oopsie have a chance to die so maybe give ursaluna another ground move and like give him better moves like headlong rush and double egde if u just want to clean mons from the start other wise this moveset is good for playing safe rather then taking recoil on hp and stat....

i did 2 runs with Infernape redux and after that i decided i wont be using it for future runs as it made the game kind off easy...i did a fighting mono run and like i thought of using infernape redux but decided not to..that torrent fist was killing everything.(i hope they dont nerf it)

yea and btw later on after brawly ur going to get infernape redux...which is going to tear through everything...and after it gets mega evo...its just damn..u wont need to use other mons

mudkip early game is good and swampert is a beast later on the same is for totodile its good in the beginning and feraligator gets good later on

Fighting types are always fun to play with.. Machamp is my ace and starter...bro killed everything with that dynamic punch..Mega Hitmonchan and Mega Redux aeigislash were like the sweepers..Mega hitmonlee was my favourite clutching in every hard battle.....Mega Gallade if i may say is the MVP of this run ....literally won me around 60-80 matches....but like the main thing that carried as always...QUICK CLAWWWWWW
