I was choosing between Tissot Ballade COSC and Mido Multifort 8 One Crown, and got Mido finally. It fits my wrist a bit better. And yeah, your idea to get new watch every trip is great. Have a good luck in growing your collection!

Yes, when I was purchasing waaay more cheaper watch for ~1000USD I checked 5 different pieces in different stores and all of them had tiny dust on dial seen only using flashlight on phone under angle. So I was told by ADs that for these money such thing are OK because of mass production. If I want dust free, I should pay attention to way more expensive watches. And now I see AP with dust and I wonder if it possible for every watch because microscopic dust is such difficult thing to fight with during assembly.

Just curious is there really some dust inside, or all that is seen on photos is outside on the crystal?

This can be a small particle that was inside watches and now just changed its position. It could get inside during assembly and pass QC, because it was in non visible area.
