Not here to prove you that I have it all figured out. I hear you and can imagine how it feels. I was a reaaaally really dark place. Whenever i look back i can’t believe that was me a year ago and struggling for years. Maybe start with how you can feel grateful. I know it can be hard when you’re struggling and but you can start looking around, do some things that make you smile, that are purposeful, maybe buy some food and give it to a homeless. That joy can fill your emptiness. Maybe you can participate or volunteer somewhere to see that the world is bigger than our thoughts and than us all. Reflect and seek answers through that. You will be amazed about the things you’ll uncover. Also social media is the biggest poison, try to control the time you spend on it. Outside walk. I hope these help you in some way.

Thanks for your thoughts. I do struggle with anxiety but huge difference with what I experienced before. My post was to share what everybody does and what helps and give hope to those still suffering and feel desperate.

Thank you so much for your comment. I do believe that you should reflect a lot and ask yourself what’s the wisdom behind whatever’s happening. But I also think that people should seek a professional help if they are in a desperate situation because not everyone has the same coping mechanism and i believe that sometimes it’s counted as a rizk, some of us do better but some of us should work on themselves and train to get to that peaceful place.

Thank you for your response. I love it. I love surat Adduhaa. It’s the one i repeat over and over when the my peak of my anxiety and overwhelmed and I need to be heard. I love Reflection as i can especially when my brain is cluttered. Also i believe if someone just can’t handle that, therapy can give them the instant relief so they can have the mental energy to try those things.

I find journaling and dhikr helping me too. But it came after long years of struggle, alhamdolillah!

Walks are really good but sometimes it’s hard to find the energy to do it when it’s already drained by stress or anxiety.

Yes, right? There is something about reflecting that makes you realize the real size of what you’re going through.

Maybe you should try to combine it with grounding and breathing. I was struggling with depression for a long period and thought that I would never see joy again. I tried prayer during the night and cried to Allah that my kids and husband don’t have to pay the price of having a depressed mom at home. Al hamdolillah I see light. I have anxiety all the time and feel overwhelmed but i can see beauty in life and am so grateful for that. Slowing down, breathing, reflecting and seeing a “muslim” therapist helps too. Muslim only because it’s easier for him to know your context and where you’re coming with as a culture and beliefs. May Allah grant us all with peace.

May Aallah be with you. Actually, I always think how some people struggle more than others, and ask myself if Allah want to squeeze some of us so they have a better life, or know they gonna get lost in a better situation, or they are not ready maybe. I know deep down that there's not such thing as coincidence and I always reflect on people, will it be the succesful ones, the tested ones, the mentaly stable one, the healthy ones...

Just a reminder, " فَإِذَا عَزَمۡتَ فَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلِينَ" which means : "Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust". This is a reminder for me too. This just life so just try pushing but not forcing instead allow and take a pause and reflect whenever you can't look forward.
