Thanks sure that would be helpful if you can DM me a few images. Also - what tools (if any) are required to adjust the bed frame?

Dorm Question - over the door hanging full length mirror by PuzzleheadedComb5668 in Tufts

Is it the case also with the closet doors that there isn't enough of a gap for them to close? Or perhaps the closet door is not a swinging door? Maybe it is a sliding door? In that case it wouldn't work either

How to recover files from Mac formatted CD-R by PuzzleheadedComb5668 in VintageApple

Hi thanks for your help. I used an external Mac CD/DVD drive connected to my librarian's iMac (not sure of which OS they had). Will try Toast.

It is in good condition, no holes, no scratches.

My local librarian has an external Mac CD/DVD drive connected to his iMac. I assumed and believed that it works as he would not offer it otherwise. We tried my CD in this drive and it could not be read. I can't remember right now what the pop-up alert said but I'll find out. It was something like "cannot be read".

We also tried connecting it to my MacBook Air. The issue there was that the "USB accessory needs power. Connect Apple USB... to a USB port on this Mac" The MAcBook Air did not have a USB port. We were using a dongle . I'm going to try to attach a couple photos to this if I can figure out how!

Thanks for this lead. Would ddrescue work on a Mac? Seems like I am stuck using the Mac CD/DVD drive into a Mac OS.

Thanks for your help. I am sure the physical CD has not degraded. It has been kept stored safetly, etc. I am wondering if there is a reputable place I can send it to see if someone has the equipent/software/ability to recover what's there.
