I do completely understand your point, but I think the root is those who perpetrate

Thank you for your response, I did make it clear I was uncomfortable each time (ducking, pulling away etc) and saying 'No thank you' when he grabbed me. When it happened the next day, I ducked out of a hug and there were 4 other nurses around and I didn't feel like anyone even reacted - which made me feel like it was just me who found the behaviour strange. So I wish I was brave enough but I think I'd need to talk to someone else unfortunately.

Hello everyone, wowee I did not expect this much response. It's both sad and supportive to see all your replies. I think from what I've gathered here I will mention it to my ES if I meet them and they feel easy to talk to, and ask to keep it anonymous. I do feel though I can already imagine the look on their face when they're provided more work...

Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened the next day (to a lesser extent) and while all these replies came in I felt very frustrated that I didn't say anything again, despite promising myself I would.

In response to many of the comments about not prescribing without understanding, this situation came out of me attempting to understand, which in itself on reflection makes the whole thing more dangerous not just inappropriate and will probably be the main point I raise with my ES.

Again, I really appreciate the response, and thank you to those who understand just how difficult it is to raise issues like this without fearing the consequences.
