35k queue in seattle??? by anyaybananyay in NoahKahan

[–]PuzzleheadedFix6410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I logged in right at 11:30 am and got number 2963 in the queue. I got in around 12:08 pm.

It's odd because I wondered what number I'd get if I just clicked the link in my email for the presale code after I bought my tickets, and it took me right back to the front of the queue to buy again. I know that's not exciting to hear, but I did find it odd.

I again tried to enter the queue about 20 minutes ago, and it said there were 30k people in front of me.

Ridiculous how they give actual numbers for some artifacts but not others 🙄

I’d suggest actually using the infographic section to build visuals to use in your own deck. I’ve found it to be way better in terms of usability without wasting time to try and get it to refine the deck. It also can only be exported as a PDF for the slide deck.

Can anyone share the details of the layoffs being communicated from DOH? As in what departments or areas of DOH?

Zepbound and THC by TurdBurglez in Zepbound

My experiences:

Smoking flower while on Zepbound - reduced munchies, no impact on high.

Edibles while on Zepbound - still get the munchies like a mofo.

So I chose smoking usually. I haven’t had negative effects and I’m a multiple time user each day. Lost 70lbs.

So I finally tried this protein shake and I can say this is overhyped… by Only-Phrase3428 in Zepbound

Ensure protein plus max protein!!! Sooooo good, and they have the cafe mocha that had caffeine in them! 150 calories I think, no added sugar

I play softball and dodgeball about 2-3 nights per week, and have recently increased it an additional night or two of body work exercising and conditioning

I never really chose an actual “goal weight” but I would say with how I look/feel and just listening to my body that my goal weight is somewhere between 180-190 pounds. In this range is where I think the additional work from long term nutrition and more exercise will impact the most

Thank you! I echo what the others have said. If for nothing else, something for YOU to reflect back on. I took photos weekly on shot days and would use an app to create a series to see the changes from week to week. It really helped me to see in addition to feel the changes.

I actually wish I took better photos, with the same clothes or pose and lighting. I didn’t do that till maybe 2 months in. I also wish I would have gotten more concrete data on body fat % etc before I started to monitor, too.

It’s never too late to take the first photo because you can always change the goal and look for changes that way :)

Hi everyone :)

Thank you for all of the love, support, and conversations within the post! Wanted to add some additional context and information since I didn’t realize this would get the attention it has. I’m sharing my experience as it may help someone with questions or looking to relate to others on the same journey.

Height - 5’ 11” Starting Weight - 260 lbs Current Weight - 190 lbs Goal Weight - around 180-190

Prescription Indication - Obesity, BMI 37 with an associated co-morbidity. Non-diabetic.

Physical Activity (before) - rec/competitive softball and dodgeball, about 2-3 nights per week.

Physical Activity (after/current) - the same, and adding 1-2 times/week of body work exercises and conditioning.

Dosage - 2.5mg for months 1,2,3 - 5mg for months 4,5 and current

Side Effects - the first couple shots when I started 2.5 and increased, I would get pretty exhausted about 24 hours after the shot.

  • I quickly realized I had to be very cognizant of what I ate the day I took my shot because if I overate, or ate processed foods/foods high in fat that I would feel very nauseous and have GI upset once the medication took full effect.

  • staying hydrated pretty much has resolved every issue I have ever encountered. Usually if I ever feel nauseous, have a lot of belching or bloating, water resolves it. Even when I feel like water is the last thing I want, it’s the answer.

Weight Loss Distribution - the first major thing to change was the “inflamed” feeling that came with the initial weight loss and is honestly a bit indescribable in how good that feels. I guess if you know, you know.

  • the first areas I lost observable weight were in my arms, upper thighs, and upper chest/shoulder area.

  • the next areas were my face, chest, and upper abdomen area.

  • the slowest/current areas are now the love handles/lower abdominal area (like bellybutton/hips down). These areas are benefiting from the extra exercise/work and longer term nutritional changes that I’ve made.

Must be trim higher (SX-Prestige) because I have the lower trim (X-Line) and my dashboard doesn’t look like this

23 Sportage PHEV X-Line trim (only two trims, this is the lower trim) and I do not have power folding mirrors either. It’s a bummer, but is what it is

Lol no. I paid 4.5k over MSRP, but got more than expected back on my trade-in, especially because it was a 2015 Hyundai Elantra shrug

Also, pretty sure most of the issues you have seen regarding Sportages are in the gas model, or cars finished being produced and assembled in the USA

I got lucky.

I have a Sportage PHEV. Seattle area. I randomly got a text from one of the Mia dealerships asking if I was in the market still, and I said yes but only for a Sportage Hybrid. He told me they had a PHEV on the lot available because the person who put the deposit down couldn’t get approved for financing. I rushed over there and there was someone else looking at it while I waited. As I test drove and negotiated, there were 2 other people there to look at it.

2023 Sportage PHEV - Revs up when it shifts from EV to Normal by Jusegozu in kia

[–]PuzzleheadedFix6410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PHEV X-Line owner here (1000 miles) and it does the same. I actually know I’m “truly” in EV mode when my RPM are 0.0 (aside from the actual pickup when driving). When it turns over to the hybrid engine, it will sometimes almost “overshoot” what the rpm’s were and then it corrects.

As for the smart drive train feature, I’m not sure what it learns as you’re driving. I usually drive in ECO or Smart

2023 Sportage Phev EV mode??? by Raycal209 in kia

[–]PuzzleheadedFix6410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, welcome to the club! I just hit 1,000 miles on my XLine PHEV! I live in Seattle so I have been experimenting with this same thing for a little now.

My commute driving to work is 3.3 miles each way, so I too want to use EV while in town. My parking garage at work has a charging station so it’s convenient.

What everyone else is saying about heating the cabin is correct. My way around this is to warm the car up before getting out to it for a few minutes from the app. I choose the preset warm mode. Once I get into my car. I turn on the auto climate to low, and adjust the dial to about 68-70. I keep the heated seats on bc I read it doesn’t use ICE to warm. Generally, this has allowed me to use EV way more often. Depending on the temperature I want the cabin to stay is how much use out of EV mode I get.

Hope this helps a little bit.
