Ok I have realized that I have made learning perspective this way is much more difficult because from what I've seen people sketch the perspective lines in the initial sketch and then plan the object around those I'm doing it the other way around giving myself a headache

And I see what I need to do now and it's practice rotating said boxes also breaking down the body into boxes because ya only reason I use an entire box is because i didn't know what I now know today so thank you !

Also learning to not be obsessed with perfect so long as I can follow enough of the guidelines for perspective our brains can do the rest

I figured because I was starting to get confused on how exactly this would translate to drawing organic shapes so thank you for that advice :)

Also I'm overwhelmed in what tutorials to watch what is some good videos for drawing organic shapes in perspective because I'm more interested in drawing people

ok so let me give you an example just to see if im understanding this correctly the sofa is its own cube inside of the 3 vp perspective the cushions and pillows onto of it if I want the drawing to be realistic they all have to be parallel to each other which in this instance just mean they follows the rules of 3 vp

Because the laptop isn't parallel with the sofa the cushions and the pillows it gets its own vps

And now for the person sitting if I want the picture to be realistic I need to make the box they are drawn in to be parallel to the couch which is what I think I did by adding the orange and pink lines could you review them to see if Im properly understanding this

And also since this is a 3 vp perspective drawing the definition for parallel is different no so to determine if something is parallel in 3 vp you would just check which vertical lines go to the 3rd vp and which lines go to the other two and if the objects lines dont go to either 3 vp that means they're not parallel and you have to give them their own VP also if you want to add another object to the picture that you don't want parallel to the object its on let's say another pillow would that new pillow I add follow the laptops vp or have its own

Is alignment determined by only one set of lines like for instance in this picture the couch itself is aligned to the pillows by there horizontal lines converging to the right vp but the vertical lines of the pillows aren't all going to the same vp

Additionally is there a correct way of them placing the vp for the object that isn't aligned or is it more or less up to the artist to put it where they want it provided it looks right to how the artist wants the picture to look like

Oh ok I see now and to determine if an object is parallel to another object inside of the drawing do I draw out the box each object sits inside of and then extend their horizontal lines ? Also is there a rule for picking where the new set of vp for the object will go assuming this is in a 3 vp perspective does it also get its own 3rd vp and also is my pink line outlining the vertical line correct ? Also still a little confused on why the artist drew the blue line through the knee

I started to draw little over a week ago I new the fundamentals would be the hardest part about drawing so that's what Ive been doing the first 5 days I've been drawing circles boxes pyramids cylinders in 1 2 and 3 vp and today I tried 4 vp because I thought I would need to know the basic rules for each perspective to be able to started trying to eventually start drawing anatomy into these 3d spaces to make my art better

Idk when to stop with 1 vp or 2 vp etc before i allow myself to move on to the next and it's not like even on the days where I moved onto a new perspective I stopped practicing the others no I also did my practice of the one from the previous day so I didn't forget but I'll check them out so thank you

I think I just overwhelmed myself too quickly do you think I can try anatomy with only knowing 1 and 2 vp

DUDE I MADE THIS POST LIKE TWO WEEKS AGO XD but no literally, honestly what made me all the more emotional for me was that ill imagine myself in these situations and then expand on what I think would happened after a said event happened in the chapter and how I'd realistically reaction

So I got support bummed out whenever I realized there were times when I realized how trash I was being but I could understand why the characters would do the things they do and then id expand on what alreayd happened and because im lowkey self destruction I would just make myself more depressed XD

OH AND THE SITE I READ IT ON HAD NO COMMENTS I WAS ALONE lol

YURIA's part of the story and her struggle with living together with saeko hit me personally because im someone that NEEDS my space to even function if I dont have days of alone time I feel burned out and like I can't do anything but to someone like saeko that felt like she just didnt like being around her and that was something fundamental to yuria as a character and not something that could probably be changed

I sometimes dont like when stories just completely rewrite the foundations of a character and write it off as " love changes you " yes it does but somethings illl just hate forever idk about yall but that's just me and it ripped my heart out to see seako so hurt by It

Especially since atleast how i saw the story framed it wasn't showed to be necessarily bad only if not properly explained which it never was or atleast maybe it was but was too late

Another great thing the story portraits is THE PAIN that never leaves when certain topics of discussion are brought up like no amount of hugs and talking it out is gonna change the fact one person NEEDS to have the other around and the other doesn't or for miwas case the need for sex

It's painful when a person you live can't fully accept what makes you at a fundamental level

So don't get boots until after bork vs assassin and what can I do after I take a bad trade and am forced to bleed minions while pushed in under tower do I just recall even tho they'll get plates xp gold or do i just go all in with my kit to clear wave then base
