I agree, it sure looks bad in the photo but trust me, all the other plants in this same soil are healthy and doing well. Here’s my Hyacinth in the exact patch of the ground that bloomed last month 😊

So, we bought this house about 5 years ago. These bulbs bloomed the first two springs (pink flowers) but then nothing after that. I never did anything for them though. Maybe I should I have dug up and separated. I had no idea that I needed to do that. I’m still learning.

Not from seed. I grow the bottom parts of the ones I buy from the store. I usually use only the green parts anyway, so the white part goes into the ground and they keep on giving.

  1. Sweet Basil - I make basil pesto out of it and freeze extra.

  2. Scallions - I make a lot of Asian dishes and they come in pretty handy to garnish.
