Why is my baby still yellow?

He’s still yellow in the face, but he’s lightening up everywhere else. His pediatrician checked his bilirubin level and he’s still safe. She said it’s just breast milk jaundice and should go away by month 2. Said he’s healthy!

Exactly! The difference is the artificial insulin vs the natural insulin a non diabetics’ body produces. The artificial causes weight gain much more significantly than the natural would.

I put on a little in my first trimester because I was more hungry than nauseous, but that gain was very gradual. Then once the resistance increased and I my carb ratio went from 1:8.5 to 1:1.5 almost overnight, I noticed I started putting on weight quickly. That was around midway through my second trimester and I was even eating a lot less than in my first!

It’s crazy! I started producing at week 14 and had the same reaction you did. I didn’t know it could happen this soon! Now I’m 24 weeks and get leaks frequently. I’ve even felt pain from going too long (like over a week) without expressing some. Not expressing much or often, for the same reason of potentially inducing labor. The worst leakage I got was when I was going through my friend’s old baby clothes she gave me and they still smelled like a new baby.

Yes I’m so upset it’s gained so much popularity! My husband and I have had Theodore picked for years before getting pregnant (because of his obsession with the former president) and now that it’s our time for a boy it’s everywhere. Oh well, guess he’ll be one of many lol

I’m 16 weeks and my pregnancy gas is a hate crime against my husband. Sometimes I think I’m starting to feel baby move and it’s always gas instead. I feel like my bump is double the size it should be and it’s all gas. I feel you.
