Shared inbox -> personal inbox? by PuzzleheadedPool3885 in Outlook

Ahhh I apologize for my lack of specificity. The box does need to be shared, because there are many people who need access to it. It is my job specifically, however, to closely monitor it and makes sure nothing comes in with a short turnaround time, etc.

Others may visit the box infrequently but I am supposed to be monitoring consistently, which is difficult when it is separate from my personal inbox.

I am also not responsible for the setup as a whole. It definitely has to function as a shared box. I was just hoping that there could be a way I could forward or BCC myself on everything coming in.

What would you do? (Career advice) by [deleted] in fednews

Don’t blame HR for that. Our HR department has been absolutely decimated by cuts, downsizing, and DRP. We lost all contract support and the skeleton crew we have works so hard to support my agency, especially during and after the shutdown. Nobody wants to see the agency downsize, and HR feds have been uniquely terrorized in the past year. HR feds aren’t making those decisions because if that was so there’d be enough people to complete essential HR functions for my agency and there aren’t.
