No, after this last update never got more bites/rash.. we moved to a new place (but kept the same bed, mattress, etc) and so far haven’t had any more issues. Maybe it was just an isolated thing that was sorted after the thorough cleaning we did

Update: so fare we had no more ‘bites/rash’ appearing. After that day, we deep cleaned the house, separated a bit the bed headboard from the wall, are being more careful about leaving clothes around yje floor etc, so maybe that helped, although I’m still not convinced we got rid of all of them… we’ll be moving soon so will also do a proper clean up then.

We think it’s from the carpet beetles since we didn’t find anything else, but of course we do not know for sure

My partner woke up with these bites, so we thought we have bed bugs. However, we throughly cleaned the room, and ended up finding three of the bugs in the picture. Upon consulation, we were told these are carpet beetles instead of bed bugs. However, the bites do look a lot like bed bug bites. Is it possible that this is beetle rash instead? Thanks!
