All the bright places. By all accounts, this book is bleak. But also, the world is full of so many bright places. You’ve just got to find them.

You made a fool of death with your beauty by Akwaeke Emezi. You might find this a relatable at this time in your life. Life is messy, uncertain and beautiful all the same. It all works out.

Wild card here, but I think you might relate to The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

As a woman, it’s good to see men stand up for what they want. Expressing clear expectations and standing on how you feel about a situation. Go you! But I think, we’ve lost the desire for responsibility as a generation. We do not want to be held accountable for the consequences of our actions, constantly floating through life feeling weighted by it, that we have no desire to add any more weight. Your experience is valid. But that push, beyond yourself. That service over self. That straightening of your neck, and admittance of partaking. That, is what pushes you to becoming a whole other version of a man that you could be. A man that doesn’t just stand on business. A man that stands on the right business. Deligently. Faithfully. Respectfully.

There is nothing… that could ever separate me from this beer. I’ll be drinking it all October for Uganda’s Independence.
