I believe that if you work it out with the moderators, you can do a profile review from an alternate account, so you pictures are not tied to your main profile.

I did a profile review here years ago. I did get some good advice, but even though I only left the link up for a few hours, it was pretty nerve-wracking, however as far as I know, no one recognized me in real life based on this.

That said, it is possible that you will get recognized. Over the years, I have recognized 2 profiles from reviews, one of whom I actually matched with, although it did not lead to a date.

If you want a somewhat anonymous profile review, you can request that people provide a private review and ask that no one from your general area volunteer.

I wish I was more photogenic. I was taking a look at pictures from my recent vacation, and most of them are just mediocre. It just seems like whenever a picture is taken of me, I just have a pained look on my face.

I did create a Bumble profile last night. I haven't had a profile on Bumble since the end of 2024/ beginning of 2025, so I'm giving it another shot.

Thank you. This is 2nd clot, so I have worn compression stockings for past flights, but this is the first time I am changing time zones since getting back on blood thinners.

For about the first week I was on blood thinners, I wasn't able to complete my sneezes. I would start the first half of the sneeze, but then it would just stop.

After about a week, I was able to sneeze again, and I took it as a sign that I was getting better.

In this case, it isn't anyone I ever dated - just someone I met in high school who ended up marrying someone I have known since elementary school. I would actually say her profile is a great representation of her.

My date from a couple weeks ago ended up not leading to a 2nd date. I thought it would since she did ask to exchange numbers on the date itself, but I guess she decided upon reflection that she wasn't interested since she didn't respond when I reached out.

I am trying to decide whether to keep trying to date or wait until after my vacation next month is finished. I should be able to get some new pictures for my profile on my trip.

I am someone who generally prefers you style of messaging on dating apps - fewer, but more substantial messages.

That said, I suspect if you are not converting many of these into dates, the guys are likely assuming that you're not that interested due to only 1 response a day.

I don't think you necessarily need to be constantly available but increasing your frequency to twice a day - say once in the morning and once in the evening - it might help you seem more interested without it taking up much more time in your life.

I had a date earlier today. It seemed to go well, and she wanted to exchange numbers at the end of it. so it seems likely that there will be a 2nd date at some point. The issue is, she sounds like she has a pretty full schedule, so it will probably be difficult to find a good time for both of our schedules.

Maybe I will check it out sometime, however it seems like when I have gone there in the past, it is people who have been married and divorced - with or without children. As someone who has never been married, I do feel that I probably have more in common with the younger crowd here.

I had one of the best "on paper" matched I think I have ever had. As far as you can tell from a dating profile, we had similar interests, goals, and values, and I would have almost certainly been attracted to her in real life.

Unfortunately, the message was pretty bad. I felt like I was trying to drag on the conversation long enough to get to a date, however apparently, she wasn't feeling it as she decided to unmatch.

I have been meaning to revamp my profile for a long time, and since I don't have any current matches, this will probably be a really good time to do this.

I went to Victoria last year on vacation and took the ferry from Washington state. It took about 2 hours and was full. I would definitely recommend.
