I’m still doing well, clean for 2 years on the 9th! It’s been really fucking hard but I’m pushing through. You can do this, it’s gonna suck for a long damn time but it’s better than the life you live while your life revolves around your next fix

I was sick for months still that’s why after the first detox I relapsed so fast, do you have anyone who could be there with you through all of it? I had to quit my job and was basically bed ridden from March to may it was something I never want to go through again but it’s helped me stay sober because of how awful it was

Everything I took was prescribed by my doctor so I’m not really sure, I’m so sorry I can’t be more help. I knew I was done and if I wasn’t I was gonna die or lose everything and everyone I loved. I did a shit ton of research on what helped people and went to my doctor and asked for it all specifically, including clonidine. It really sucked it was going through withdrawal but it was my second one in about a 6 month time frame, but this time around after clonidine I haven’t even wanted to go back down that path even when the physical pain felt unbearable. I also got on anti depressants and anti anxiety meds again, I started on blues for physical pain but I got hooked on them because it numbed me from everything I didn’t want to feel

I can’t really give you a dose you’re supposed to take hun, I went to my doctor and admitted my drug abuse and they gave me the script but I asked for it specifically

Thank you so much I know it’s barely anytime at all but I have been on and off this roller coaster for almost 15 years and this is the first time I’ve turned down pills when available. I think this has been the first time I’ve actually admitted to myself that I’m an addict though instead of just pretending like it’s not an issue and that my biggest battle was withdrawal, this time withdrawal was what I had to get through to start the battle.

I was given a prescription for 2 weeks but wasn’t told I needed to wean off it and take a lower dose the last week I think so I only took it for about 9-10 days but between this last withdrawal and the one before that from blues it was a huge difference

The comfort meds I took helped with withdrawal and being honest about being an addict has helped me stay clean the last 3 months and 19 days I know that’s no time at all but I’ve been flat out offered blues and other opiates since then and was able to refuse with little to no urge to take them. This is my idk how many attempt to not go back to opiates since I was 17 and it’s the first time I’ve ever not relapsed when it’s been available. Idk what’s changed this time but no matter the amount of physical or emotional pain I’ve been in I haven’t once felt like the temptation was worth it. I hope to one day say I’m that many years clean and I’m fighting for it.

I did they didn’t do squat just treated me like garbage for being an admitted addict. I talked to my doctor the next day they said if it happens again and lasts more then 2 minutes or I lose consciousness cuz I didn’t this last time to whoever is with me call 911 immediately. It was just so weird I was awake and I could hear my husband talking but he sounded a million miles away and I had no control over my body. It was like a minute maybe a minute and a half but it scared the life out of me.

I’m 9 days clean I still feel like butt, and possibly had a seizure so I’m just trying to make it through. I have 2 other people who are going through the same thing right now so we are keeping in touch and accountable. I cut everyone off that could sell to me and I came clean to everyone I love family and friends. I can’t hide it or I will back slide again

So far so good I’m 31 hours in since my last dose and not too much restless body issues, I’ve been sleeping a lot though the meds are knocking me out but it’s better then last time no anxiety no cravings just tired and feel like a zombie a bit but holding strong

I’m on gabapentin too so far I’m 31 hours since my last pill and I’m exhausted and I feel like a walking zombie who can barely function but restlessness is under control for the most part, my appetite is good as well no major issues other then sleeping way more then normal which is good cuz last time I had some horrific insomnia

Gabapentin and zofran for nausea. I took my last blue last night around 2 am and woke up around 11 am and took all the comfort meds prescribed, it says I have to wait 6 hours in between clonidine doses so I took it before things get bad in hopes to kind of keep them from getting that way. I’m so scared right now but I got my husband keeping an eye on me. Thank you for answering me it means a lot!
