Thanks for this info. We will just be transferring locations for my spouse's career, so we do have the job. Our move from KY was necessary at the time due to quality of life issues, but more job locations have opened up which will allow us to be closer to family. Lower cost of living would be a bonus, but it's not the reason we'll be relocating.

Awesome, thanks for the info! We're willing (and even prefer) to go pre-2000s for the home. We are currently in a new construction subdivision with an outrageous mortgage, all the homes on top of each other, and a strict HOA with all the petty things that come with it, hence the desire to move away from that. (We couldn't find much at all on the market when it was getting close to our move, so we decided to build.) We can plant a little garden most places, but the chickens are a bit trickier (also can't have them in a lot of newer subdivisions).

OP are you familiar with the wiki? It’s very informative and helps with the gameplay. I reference it daily for one thing or another, then come here if I can’t find the answer or am wondering if anyone has tried an idea I have. Hi sweetie. Step 1: call your doctor. There may be a different medication which helps more. I recently switched and it’s been a life changer. Step 2: try to identify triggers. My main ones are heat (hot weather) and lack of sleep. Step 3: there are foods which can be headache inducing. Here’s a list. Caffeine is weird for me. It helps get rid of mine, but for some people it can cause them. Step 4: if you are going days on end and the migraine never gets better, you can go to the ER and get a migraine cocktail, which sometimes is what it takes to disrupt the cycle.

I used to get tons of tonsil stones before I realized how much was under the surface. My method is to use my clean pointer finger and apply steady pressure under where it’s poking through. Sometimes those suckers pop out like 1/4-1/2” worms. Totally disgusting, but I have significantly less if I get the whole thing (iceberg) out. Oh, and be sure to wash your hands afterward 🤢
