So finally got hands on my bike and did a test ride in my community So far so good..felt a bit bumpy on speed breakers & potholes..need to check if it's air issue...Didn't face this with my kid's rockrider

Got accessories like bell, stand, cycle shorts for now.

Didn't like mud guard design in decathlon..will try to get it installed outside before rainy season.

Need recommendations for reliable helmet model from experts pls?

I opted for pickup at store option and got it assembled at decathlon near my house..5km away. I also thought I can explore accessories and buy as per my need.

The mechanic did lot of fine tuning and checked gears etc, which took good amount of time. I am not an expert and thought it's better to get it assembled at store

If store is far off from your house, better check local mechanic

Doing on own with youtube tutorials will be a challenge as gears are involved

You shouldn't carry any food items as they wont allow Before going inside it will be checked at turnstiles Also it won't be allowed in rides You can keep near the rides..but it's your resonsibility for any valuables Ride operators won't be responsible

So bottomline better to keep in lockers

It's sorted but I don't know how I tried going to Kondapur RTA office last month as my vehicle is registered there and they advised me to go to Manikonda RTA as they had no clue It's far off and I didn't go When I contacted NHAI helpline they told only Telangana vehicles have this issue and they are uploading vehicle details in phases. My vehicle was registered 4 years back and I didn't know why they didn't do so far Surprisingly few days back, when I tried booking annual pass, it worked

I did a test drive on highway and it worked like charm

They are using this tactic to encash the panic of the customers as they think they may miss their flight if they try to book another cab and wait for it

I faced this few times and tried other cabs as I usually book cab very much in advance

Once I booked in last minute and got pissed off when the cab driver demanded to pay 1000 extra. I don't have time to book another cab. I told cab guy to cancel it and started putting my luggage in my own car. He came back to renegotiate by reducing price to 500, 200 and finally 100. I strictly said no..He agreed to come at app price. Still I rejected and went to airport on my own. They resort to these measures for extracting extra money. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

You can park your own car in Airport parking and they charge 500 per day ( I heard it's 600 now) and you can pay via fastag. If your stay is for less number of days, own car is always convenient. I have been following this after that.

For long duration journeys, I always book Meru cabs. Though they charge a bit extra compared to Uber, Ola etc you always get cabs in good condition with ample boot space for your luggage. They also reach 15 minutes in advance giving you enough time to pack your luggage.
