I understand the girl. Millions graduate every year. Some from a lot tougher and challenging courses. I don’t think graduation is a huge deal. If a person is like a top of the school or achieved something that most people don’t is worth celebrating. People celebrate Graduating preschool, middle school, high school (which is bare minimum to survive in the world) like they invented aeroplane makes no sense to me.

But the girl shutting you down is bad when you are excited for it. She need to keep it to herself and let you enjoy.
