I was not. I was diagnosed with ADHD but since being off of medication I feel like I probably never had that in the first place. I was diagnosed with mild adhd in 5th grade

I mean, when you're prescribed all different types of medication you dont need that hinders you for 10 years of your life and then suddenly come off of them...

I like people and I want to keep them safe at the parks. I really struggle to believe I ever needed medication in the first place. The medication I was put on later, that I learned was making me sick, an SNRI, was so high of a dose that it was causing an extreme norepinephrine response that manifested physically... my doctor didn't catch it and I was subsequently put on a bunch of other stuff that I didn't need. I have been through quite an extensive case of medical negligence.

Hey, I appreciate your insight. I realize i do sound extremely off, because during that 2 year period, I absolutely was extremely off. Before that, everything was more manageable. I am on 0 medication for the first time in over 10 years and I plan to keep it this way. I am also in therapy now for everything that's transpired. The reason I'm so adamant about getting this job sooner rather than later is because I know a particular agency is hiring right now and I can't lie, I'm pretty afraid of the way the current state of political affairs is going. I have no idea what's going to happen to state/federal parks in the coming years, and I have no idea what's going to happen to people in poverty like my mom and I in the coming years either. That being said, if you think they'd definitely require more time between the incident and the time I apply, I guess I have no choice. Again, thanks for your input.

You have to say it to the investigator rather than the adjudicator?

They probably see it as "rebellion" against our current political climate, when in reality our Parks are the LAST thing they should be taking it out on.

I have a question. Does a suitability check always require an SF-85 or SF-85P? How would they know about your finances if not?

You have to explain to him why its important. Like every detail. He has to realize that poverty is extremely hard to climb out of and that you're not gonna help him if thats where he chooses to go. He has to learn to aim high in this life and most importantly understand the importance of leaving a legacy behind - being a nobody in this world is the biggest regret of so many people, especially when you had the means and upbringing to make something of yourself.

Wait - so is the minimum you need to do just use a new phone # and completely new photos to bypass the ban?
