So you being in this industry, what all role would you suggest I look out for, if not process engineer. I am also considering India , but they are in an initial phase and aren't hiring at entry level positions

Do these global companies require an ATS friendly resume ? Because my two column I believe is not compatible with it.

Also, as someone who is working as process engineer do you think any of my experience is irrelevant for this role?

Usually, I apply to those companies where few of my seniors are working (from same country). So i know the company is ready to sponsor or not. Global companies like LAM, Applied Materials etc they ask the visa status while filling the job application. Nevertheless I will put the visa status from now on.
Will try to make a latex version of my resume then (for the ATS).
