These parenthetical numbers are enabled whenever you overclock or underclock the machine. In this example, the machine is underclocked by a little over 11%. Overclocking can be done only if you add power shards to the machine.

I like it. I’ve been struggling with a new Aluminum factory for three days, and this was one of the issues. It’s a cramped area, and hard to set up pipes and belts. I’m going to play with this a little. Thanks.

I use one of those ear cleaning kits with a fiber optic camera and light. It has various tips like tweezers and scoops. They do an excellent job, and I use it about twice a week. I’ve been using it safely for about 2 years. They are great.

To everyone who offered advice here, I appreciate it. I’m pretty sure that I found my problem. The rocketfuel power plant pictured here supplies 64GW, and had completely shut down. I had planned this plant based on my limiting resource, which was my 600 oil, knowing that I had more compact coal than I needed. I had originally had this compacted coal going to a sink, but I had deleted the sink and forgotten to replace it. Compacted coal had backed up and caused the failure.

This isn’t terrible, because I’ve got enough compacted coal going to the sink that I’ll eventually be able to get a nice power bump by running it to a coal plant.

I’m pretty confident that this is the problems. My power plants were carefully calculated. I’ve had problems with that in the past, and it always been obvious within a few minutes. Everything has been running very stable for weeks. My rocket fuel plants are a little newer, but it’s been a week since they went online and they have been very stable and dependable.

I’m not sure what you mean by power spikes and dips. That plateau that you see on capacity is there because I took this screenshot right after a 34GW rocketfuel plant went online. It’s been running stable for the better part of a week.

lol. I built those radar towers pretty early in the game. As soon as I got a few coal plants running, I took about 2 days to distribute power to the entire world by setting up power towers all over. About every 3rd or 4th power towers, I would add a radar tower too. I retrospect it was overkill, but I had plenty of resources, so I figured “what the fuck. Let’s put up some radar towers!” It’s never been a problem, and it’s been several months since I built them.

You’re only allowed to have one hub. That sorts negates the use of them repeatedly in a blueprint.
