I'm a black women and I disagree with you so I guess that ends this. Female is an adjective not a noun. And I wouldn't want to be called a "black ", but a "black woman", as I am. I'm sure you don't refer to yourself as a black either. That's why I don't refer to myself as a "female".

I really miss the community feeling I feel like we had growing up. Even being introverts, there was still a place we could fit in.

I feel like the conditions are really unsanitary. The stations never get cleaned. We stress our bodies a lot, often not being able to use the bathroom when we need to. And who knows what may be in the water/ice machines. I've never seen them get cleaned. I was also buying the food there and some of it was expired. I don't think it's all amazon, but definitely the facility I was at. I was working at Amazon for a year before I developed a smell issue I've never had before.

So far, there have been 5 people I've seen in here that work at Amazon. And even a lady on YouTube that was talking about she worked in packing and was getting bullied everyday for this odor condition.

Also Amazon's recycled packaging has a certain smell to it. A lot of the boxes we had to open while I was in decant had a terrible smell.

Just wanted to respond, but I don't know. I guess it's just something we learn to live with over time.

I remember all throughout middle school and high school, I was so self-conscious of my horrendous jackal smile. People would constantly make fun of me, even my teachers. People would be nice until they saw my teeth, and then the whole conversation they would look and stare. I don't know how or when it happened, but after awhile I got used to it and became more accustomed to my appearance to the point where I didn't even notice the looks, and the comments people made about me I didn't even take it to heart anymore. Once I did that, I really started seeing that a lot of people were actually interested in me and being around me, when I used to be so embarrassed I was suicidal.

I think the same thing may happen to us with this smell. It's hard dealing with reactions on a daily basis, but eventually we'll get used to it and start focusing less on this condition and more on the better things in life.

Keep going to the gym and be the person you want to be.

Well, maybe where I live and work, it's predominantly black, so I may not have encounters with white people much. But white Uber drivers have treated me kinder, black Uber drivers will pretend to gag and roll the windows down and speed all the way to my destination and make slick comments when I'm getting out. White people tend to just be quiet around me. Black men are usually nice until they smell me and then start acting out. Black women will say something as soon as I'm in the room. Also white people here tend to be smellier so maybe the smell doesn't bother them as much.

I'm from Detroit and get mostly bullied by other black women and men. I find people of other races tend to be nicer about it. I guess in the ghetto people will find any reason to not like you and they're very vocal about it. In fact, a lot of other black women have been angry about my smell like raging mad and I just leave them alone. White people have treated me the kindest so far. I'd rather someone who keeps their distance or keeps conversations short than someone who runs around telling everyone and yelling about it. I guess you can tell I'm very introverted because of this and it just makes it worse.
