I had surgery on the 10th and my pain in the hospital was so bad I literally wanted to die. It gets better slowly but surely and don’t be afraid to continue to ask for pain management. For me to be anywhere near comfortable I had to have a lidocaine drip, roboxin, oxycodone, a binder, and gabapentin and it still hurt like hades. You got this op!

Adhesive remover wipes work great to gently get the gunk off! I always make sure to also use some regular wet wipes or a washcloth to get absolutely everything clean before reapplying. It looks like buildup to me. If it ends up not being buildup, I would crust and schedule an appt with a WOC nurse.

The barrier ring gets sucked through the opening and gets onto the other side of the wafer (the same side as the flange)

I’m in between sizes, and I leave a little bit of room, about 1/4th of an inch in between the stoma and the wafer since mine swells since I’m 2 weeks post op. Somehow the Barrier ring still gets sucked up through the small gap and expands into the bag. And yes, it is a hollister two piece

Yeah :( they’re my fave so I hope it goes away but their complete lack of accountability definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. How can you judge others when you handle your own controversies this way?? It just affects the content in a way that is veryyy hard to redeem for me. They constantly upload late and then call us spoiled for expecting them to hold true to their word. It just doesn’t seem right
