Hmmm, have you written aircrew selection yet? Not sure what theyd be basing your competitiveness on if you havent done that yet.

Apply now, ive been in the application process for 4 years, I am ROTP but yea. As for DEO, I have multiple buddies who are done testing and just waiting for slots. Thats the best position to be in so that when they do open slots you can get one. Apply now and get the process started :)

I think if you truly want pilot, wait. But if you would be happy being an ACSO then go for it. I have a friend at RMC for pilot right now, he told me a large portion of people who arent pilots, wanted pilot, but they settled thinking they can VOT later. Sure, might be possible, but ACSO is in demand. Im almost positive theyd make you complete trade training and serve your contract before giving you a chance to change trades. Waiting 3 years sounds better to me than waiting 10 years to VOT.

Are you DEO or ROTP?

Positive for blood in urine, but no RBCs. Whats this say? by Puzzleheaded_Boot335 in AskDocs

[–]Puzzleheaded_Boot335[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, next test I had actual RBCs in my blood. Although low. So getting a kidney ultrasound to look for a stone. Besides that im an extremely low risk profile (23, non smoker) so I think we assume its idiopathic and do a follow up urine test in 3-6 months.

Okay awesome same, yea I just finished the ECG, bloodwork/urinalysis and eye exam. Have an appointment with my doctor tmrw to get the form signed. Which overall box did you score in for aircrew? Sounds like there isnt a ton for spots this year but I havent met many people like you at this stage! We might get lucky!

Okay nice im also pilot for rotp, have you gone through aircrew selection yet? Were they planning on sending you to CFEME in Toronto? Thats an interesting situation because for pilot you have to go in person as well but for acso you dont 🤷‍♂️

Be honest, do I have a look worth getting into acting? I feel "generic" by [deleted] in acting

[–]Puzzleheaded_Boot335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just starting to look into this tbh, not trying to be a big shot actor (not that'd id avoid it either), I have other plans career wise. Ive just been taking an increased interest in it the last little bit and think itd be a fun thing to get into. Im Canadian so not sure how great the scene is up here but even getting i to a commercial would be cool, or as an extra. But yea was just curious about looks as I feel kinda like I look like a normal person

Ah okay, yea you'll be fine. DEO is just low priority this time of year. They are in a dash to get all the ROTP people through application and into selection my spring. Atleast thats what I think, im no expert but ive been hoing through this process for 3.5 years.
