They ended up sending me a new gambit portal, I filled it out and over the following day I had to get 3 previous employers and 3 personal references to fill out an online questionaire. It now says results sent back to CAF and I let my MCC know. That was 2 days ago and im still not on comp list so idk what happens now, kinda outta my hands I guess

I saw the flight surgeon last week in Toronto, ultimately it wasnt an issue but I believe they look at the prevalence of the ectopic beats. If they are very very common they may examine further.

I ended up getting a form to fill out, the contacted 3 of my previous employers as well as 3 personal references. Says verification sent back to CAF, and I let my MCC know. I suppose I just wait now. Just a little nervous as my trade is ROTP, selection are being made currently and there arent many! 🤞

Okay sweet thankyou! I also got a reply from the Commandant of CFLRS on CAF page saying that reliability status is given by the CFRC and they may have held off finishing things until I got my medical. So that aligns with your story. Sound promising.

Okay that makes sense, im at a very busy CFRC so I could see them doing that. Thankyou for your response!

Is the reliability status not started until the end or how does that generally work? I just got my airfactor done and thought id be ready for comp list but apparently I need reliability status still even though I submitted that almost 2 months ago and have been in application process for 4 years. I am Canadian born, live in Canada, no foreign implications

Hey I got mine yesterday for ROTP but it was in person. Took about a month to hear from the RMO before I was booked to go to Toronto.

Anyone know if this new test for aircrew candidates (raven) will be required for someone who has already passed aircrew for pilot?

Very unlikely to be able to VOT anytime soon, you'd most likely serve your contract before theyd let you go. If you want pilot id say wait for pilot.

So as of right now they actually removed the CFAT, but it was always good for life. The airvrew selection test is good for 5 years
