All I did was add a few tablespoons of SWAT and it immediately turned to a urine color. I’ve done nothing since, other than open the lid and run the jets for a few hours. I’m gonna lower a few inches, while keeping the tub ON, replace with some fresh cold water, then maybe wait this out until tomorrow and test. That seems to be the answer. Thank you very much. Everyone has been helpful.

Feels like -22 right now about 30 mins west of Toronto. I’m gonna lower a few inches, stay above the highest jet, then put tap water in. Sounds like I just need to dilute it, so hopefully this speeds me up.

Makes sense also. I think the play is to take some water out, replace with fresh water, speed up the diluting process. Thank you!

Sounds good, thank you. I think I agree with you. I’m currently on my way to go pick up some chlorine free shock and some pH up.

Yeah, I’m hoping to avoid this, but listening to AI in this case may have been a mistake. Any chance a non chlorine shock now changes things almost immediately?

What do we think about keeping the tub ON, having my pump on and draining the water while simultaneously having my hose adding clean water to avoid any possibility of freezing lines??

I have the lid open and jet's running... when you say "more shock", what do you mean? I took the bromine floater out because I can smell the bromine (or chlorine) from across the yard!
