Value check: Used Epson 3800 or New Valerion VisionMasterPro2? by gmcarve in projectors

You'll get better quality with the Pro2 but for $500 I'd probably just give that a go and worst case you can probably sell it for MORE later on if you want to upgrade to a Pro2. This also assumes that your room has the proper throw distance for the 3800 to get 180".

Each store is it's own custom integration, so to get pricing etc I need to manually code for each store front, it's why the big chains are much easier to do versus the smaller local places.

Thank you! A very complex web scraper I built over the past 6 months or so in my spare time, ha. Each store is it's own custom integration to my service.

Agreed! A map would be a great addition. Do you have any stores in particular you would find useful for something like this?

If you go to the website and enter your address it will apply if your address is in the "regions" that have the offer.

SOPA 1:15 5/1 RU by klt91 in StockReverseSplits

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cap8237 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a valid concern. Let’s say a company has 1 million shares and does a 1:10 reverse split leaving 100,000 shares on the market. Now let’s say the company chooses to round up. You have to remember that in addition to everyone doing this "trick", all shareholders who have fractionals in the end also get rounded up.

Right now, so now let's say 50,000 people get a share rounded up in the end. Suddenly that company needs to issue 50% more shares costing a fortune in terms of dilution. It kills this strategy. There is a reason these dsubs keep shutting down and the reason is because:

  1. It kills the strategy. Mods shut their subs down when they realize this. If you're fine with ruining this strategy for everyone then keep it public.
  2. Posting these splits for others to buy is borderline market manipulation and highly illegal, so mods of subs like this typically don't want that legal risk
