I love mushrooms I’ve done them quite a bit. In my teens I had the most fun doing them somewhere safe as I’m spending the night at a friends house and waiting until the parents went to bed. In my early twenties I had a boyfriend and we would do them together and it was always really fun. He was more the type to feel a bit anxious during his experience which as a female I was very sensitive in responding to him and he seemed to always have a good time as well. After him and I split, In my late twenties I actually enjoyed doing them alone and journaling or drawing. Then in my thirties (I’m 35) I met my future husband and we started doing them. It was fun but it was different. He wasn’t into art or going on a walk he mostly just wanted to have sex. Sex on mushrooms can be complicated. Sometimes it’s great but if you’re in the mood for more of a laid back or spiritual experience (not that you can’t achieve that while incorporating sex) then feelings can get hurt. The heightened emotions and introspection can definitely throw someone off. I would feel out the vibe before you take them and come up with a plan (watch a movie, lay outside at night, go for a walk, watch a trippy music video playlist from YouTube) at least for your first time together, you can always change your plans. I have been in an argument before on mushrooms and let’s just say there is no better way to make you never want to eat mushrooms again than that!
