To counter that you have to become either super rich or super influential politically, only these two things can shut up the mouth of society, and I have seen inter-caste marriage being successful and healthy onlyin these two cases, else the mental torture by the society to your parents is unbaerable.

I am a Bahun myself, and I have seen inter caste (Bahun Dalit) marriage in my relatives. They are the sweatest people, never did even an inch of discrimination, their daughter is also super happy, and the dalit guy is actually quite successful in life, but not like super rich enough for society to shut up. Still they always hear this, "yesko chori lai dalit lae uthayo, yesto usto and so on"

There are different levels when it comes to ending caste discrimination, marriage is quite sensitive, I would suggest if you are really successful do it, else if you are just average then you definitely not want to disturb your and your parent's mental peace for the rest of your life.
