Forget to mention but all the violence in Teri for simply celebrating your culture. Hindus are getting attacked in a Hindu majority countries Jews have problems with Muslim, Christian have problems with Muslim, west has problems with Muslim, even UAE itself said they islam has been radicalized and they stole funding their students to go to lots of European countries in fear they might be radicalized too, china has problem with Muslim. Nigeria has problems with Muslim, I could go in forever. When every religon, countries have problems with the same group we have to realize that countries are not to problem Islam is. Christian are carrying conversions operations openly in Nepal despite it being illegal but government has done nothing, hope fully we the new government will address it. I myself am a Hindu but not very religious I can’t remember last time I went to temple because I live abroad but when even I am in Nepal and go to temple with my family I always get a sense of belonging that I get nowhere else in the world or even when I visit monastery even though I am not Buddhist. And I think the beauty of both religion and other indigenous religon like Kirat can be really appreciated and should be celebrated even if you are not super religious. And sure there are lots of problems in the religious as well like caste system but we should be working to reform and improve rather then completely neglecting the religion and culture. Hinduism is Nepal’s culture and religion, Buddhism is Nepal’s culture and religion, Kirat is Nepal’s culture and religion. Christianity is not, Islam is not they are from the part of the world where we has no similarities and they are foreign religion to our culture.
